Welcome!

Well, hello there. I see you've made it onto my newly minted travel blog. I'm excited to see you too :)

I'm currently attending college as an English major, and my dream is to become a travel writer. What is that, you say? Well, a travel writer goes to different places, and writes about the culture there. The food, the people, the atmosphere, the scenery. They learn, and adapt, and ultimately grow, and share their findings with the world. They capture these beautiful moments in life which are rarely seen, and give it a life of its own.

I've combined the power of writing with this rawness of photography (see all those header pictures? I took those myself!) in order to showcase beauty. Because beauty is only existent if we acknowledge its presence, and too often than not, we don't. There is beauty in small things, and in big things.

I've learned, that there is this spontaneous connection between the English word and the human mind. When we connect to words, we connect with the author's mind, and their emotions, and everything they want us to feel. Coupled with the natural beauty of photography, the experience is transcendent. (Even more so, it's poetry! That's the most emotional of all literature!)
